Hot Dogs at the Eiffel Tower

Hyde Park Theatre Encore

Saturday, June 5, 2021. At 8pm CDT

I’m very happy to say that Hyde Park Theatre will have an encore screening of Hot Dogs at the Eiffel Tower starting on Saturday, June 5 at 8 pm CDT. It will be available to view until June 19.

Watch the show at https://www.youtube.com/user/HydeParkTheatre

This is a recording from one of the performances from the September 2019 run of the show. Thank you to Eric Graham of IC Pictures for making this possible.

The show is free to watch but if you’re able to, please support the Hyde Park Theatre with a few dollars. The past year has been incredibly tough on all theatres and as HPT gets ready to open up and welcome back writers, actors, and audience members, any gift of support will be incredibly valuable.

Donations can be made here: https://hyde-park-theatre.square.site

Reviews from the live performances in 2019

Austin Chronicle
“Slow-burn storytelling that captivates with its blend of cheekiness and honesty”

Broadway World Austin
“A must-see. Gallant’s utterly brilliant writing and performance feels like a privilege to experience”

  CBC News
“Gallant sparkles like the Eiffel Tower’s light show”

  Winnipeg Free Press
“Gallant is a passionate storyteller, captivating the audience with personal anecdotes and her quest to connect, but most importantly, eat hot dogs at the Eiffel Tower with ‘French Papa.'”

How many times will she find out she isn’t who she thinks she is?

What kind of parent KNITS their daughter a wool swimsuit? Or gives her a briefcase for her 11th birthday? Or keeps her in the dark about where she came from? British comedian Maggie Gallant shares her childhood embarrassments and adulthood discoveries as she unleashes a Pandora’s Box of hope, lies and ‘un très magnifique’ French Papa!
